Greenfleet exists to make a difference, not a profit. Its programmes encourage organisations and individuals to reduce the greenhouse gases they produce and offset any remaining emissions through biodiverse forest planting. Greenfleet's forest sinks do more than take carbon from the atmosphere. Greenfleet plants a wide variety of locally native trees in permanent forests that help to reduce salinity and soil erosion and provide essential habitat for native wildlife.  Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted more than 6 million trees to recreate native forests around Australia, with more than 3 million of those planted in the past two years.
